By examining a sample of tissue, a Pathologist can determine whether cancer is present and how fast it's growing, crucial information in determining the best course of treatment.

Types of Bone Cancer: Osteosarcoma is the most common bone cancer. It rarely occurs in adults older than 25 years old. Osteosarcoma is usually found in the bones of the arms, legs and pelvis, and in bones that grow rapidly, such as the shoulders and knees.

Ewing's sarcoma is commonly found in children ages 4 to 15, and is rare in adults older than 30. It is an aggressive cancer typically found in the center of the long bones of the arms and legs.

Chondrosarcoma is found in cartilage cells and accounts for about 25 percent of bone tumors, making it the second most common type. Unlike most other bone cancers, it is most common in people older than 40. It is typically found in the large bones of the hips and pelvis.

The symptoms of bone cancer vary from one person to another according to the location and size of the bone cancer. Pain is one of the most common bone cancer symptoms. Generally, there is a gradual increase in the severity of the symptoms with time. At first, the pain may only be felt with activity or at night.

Surgery

How bone cancer is treated depends on the type of tumor, how aggressive it is, the location of the tumor and whether or not the cancer has spread to other areas of the body. Options include surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, or a combination of the three.
Risks include infection, damage to surrounding muscles, nerves and blood vessels, and recurrence of the cancer. Patients are often prescribed a course of physical therapy after surgery to help them regain full use and strength in the limb where the tumor was removed.

Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is administered by an oncologist, and comprises a series of powerful intravenous drug treatments aimed at stopping and reversing the growth of cancer cells. Chemotherapy is often used before surgery to shrink the tumor, making surgery less invasive. After surgery, it is used as a safeguard to kill any remaining cancer cells. The drugs kill cancer cells, but also affect hair, digestive tract cells and blood-forming cells. Loss of hair, nausea, loss of appetite, anemia and low energy are common side effects of chemotherapy. These side effects usually go away quickly after chemotherapy stops. Chemotherapy patients are sometimes referred to nutritionists to help with the anemia and loss of appetite.

Radiation Therapy

Radiation therapy is administered by a radiation oncologist, and comprises a series of high-energy X-rays aimed at the site of the tumor. This treatment is given in small doses over several days, sometimes months. The most common side effects are loss of appetite, fatigue and damage to the skin and other soft tissue at the site of the treatment. Patients who undergo surgery near the site of radiation therapy sometimes are slow to heal because of damage to the blood vessels at the site. Most side effects go away quickly after radiation therapy is over, but problems with slow healing may persist.

Hyperthermia in cancer treatment
Hyperthermia (also called thermal therapy or thermotherapy) is an acute condition which occurs when the body produces or absorbs more heat than it can dissipate. It is usually caused by prolonged exposure to high temperatures. The heat-regulating mechanisms of the body eventually become overwhelmed and unable to effectively deal with the heat, causing the body temperature to climb uncontrollably.

Hyperthermia can also be created artificially by drugs or medical devices. In these instances it may be used to treat cancer and other conditions. Cancer cells are more heat-sensitive than healthy cells and their structure reacts differently to overheating. In 1910 the possibility of overheating in order to increase the radiation effect on malicious tumors was described for the first time. This already well-known and applied method was rediscovered as so called "whole body hyperthermia" in the beginning of the 1960s. Since the 70s a number of studies were run to further investigate this therapy form.

Research has shown that high temperatures (up to 44°C) can damage and kill cancer cells, usually with minimal injury to normal tissues. By killing cancer cells and damaging proteins and structures within cells, hyperthermia may shrink tumors.

Hyperthermia is almost always used with other forms of cancer therapy, such as radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Hyperthermia may make some cancer cells more sensitive to radiation or harm other cancer cells that radiation cannot damage. When hyperthermia and radiation therapy are combined, they are often given within an hour of each other. Hyperthermia can also enhance the effects of certain anticancer drugs, which is mutually strengthened thereby and a healing more likely - the so-called synergistic effect of hyperthermia. It was found out that cytostatic drugs (chemotherapy substances) clearly act more aggressively at temperatures over 40° C than within the range of the normal body temperature.

Therefore, if the accreditation is supplied by a trusted and recognized source, the application for a job is less likely to be set aside. Instead, it has a better chance to be found in the stack for a second interview or final selection for a job position.

Water Resistance Ratings

Some watches have only minimal water resistance, they will be marked simply 'water resistant'.  If this is the case then the watch will be splash proof but nothing more, meaning that it should not be worn whilst washing up or showering. If you want to do more than just swim you need a watch with a 100m rating. A watch within the 200m water resistant class can be used for most water sports. If you are searching specifically for a divers watch, it is imperative that you check that the watch complies with international standards for divers watches.  Generally the word 'divers' will be imprinted on the case back of the watch.  There are higher classifications of water resistance, 300m or more. How to kill dust mites

While you CAN kill dust mites...it is not an easy task. Here are some tips to get you started on the road to eliminating dust mites: Use a dust mite proof mattress cover. Use a vacuum with a HEPA filter to thoroughly vacuum the mattress and the floor. Then spray the mattress with a dust mite spray to kill them. Once that is done, put a dust mite proof mattress cover on the bed to keep them out.

1) Wash
Wash all of the bedding (including the pillows) in very hot water. Hot water(130F) and freezing kill dust mites. Bedding should be cleaned at least every two weeks, and a dust mite spray can be used between washings. You also should get dust mite pillow covers for all of your pillows to eliminate pillow dust mites.

2) Use an air purifier
There are many great air purifiers on the market that will help to eliminate dust mites in your home. Using one will help dust mite allergy sufferers a great deal.

3) Freeze toys
Place children's stuffed toys and anything else that can not be washed into the freezer for 24 hours. Dust mites can not tolerate extreme temperatures...so freezing will kill dust mites.

4) Use dust mite cleaner
Wipe all surfaces (including the floors) with a dust mite cleaner. These cleaners kill the dust mites as well as keep them from getting into the air like simple dusting can do.

5) A/C filters
You will need to use a HEPA A/C filter and spray it regularly with a dust mite spray to help eliminate dust mites in the A/C system. You can also remove any vents for your central a/c unit and spray a dust mite spray inside as far as you can.

As soon as you can, place the flowers into a deep bucket of cool water.  A top tip is to spray a fine mist of water onto the petals and leaves to freshen them up. 

Select a your container and give it an extra rinse to make sure it’s clean.  Don’t use detergent as it can harm the flowers, as will any residue from previous flowers in the container.  If you have a sachet of flower preservative, add it to the water in the vase.  These should be included with every bouquet from a reputable florist. These flower foods contain the right balance of ingredients to nourish the flowers, keep bacteria at bay, prolong the life of the arrangement and stimulate the buds to open – but it’s important to follow the instructions to the letter as incorrect preparation can do more harm than good.

Once the vase is ready, snip about a centimetre off each stem. Always use sharp scissors or shears. The general rule is to cut soft stems straight along and woody stems such as those of roses or hydrangeas, at an angle.  Strip off any leaves that will be below the waterline, otherwise they’ll rot and also consume all the valuable nutrients.

To ensure your carefully arranged bouquet doesn’t lose its shape, you can always tie it with some florist’s twine.  This helps with handling the arrangement when you lift it to cut the stems or refresh the water.  Some bouquets already have binding in place when they’re delivered, and it’s probably wise to keep this intact.

The water in the container should be topped up regularly, particularly if the weather is very hot or humid, and it should be replaced with fresh water completely once every three days or so, says Perth florist.  They recommend that any leaves, petals etc be removed from the water as these can cause algal growth which isn’t good for the flowers.  Any dead leaves or spent flowers should also be removed to prolong the life of the arrangement.  Cutting another centimetre off the stems after a few days will also make the bouquet last longer.

If your arrangement is done in water-retaining florists’ foam, it will also need to be topped up often.  Trickle water into the middle of the arrangement or into a special nick in the foam, to ensure full absorption.

And finally – you must see them to enjoy them, but try and put the arrangement in a coolish position.  Flowers thrive best in temperatures of around 18 to 20 degrees Celsius and should be kept away from harsh, direct sunlight.  They should also be kept away from electrical appliances such as televisions, microwaves or heaters which give off heat.  And you wouldn’t think so – but placing your flowers near fresh fruit is a no-no! . Some fruits give off a gas as they ripen which can speed up the rate of deterioration of flowers.

Once you have the pads in place you should think about the frame work of the shed. What are you going to insulate the shed with and consider where you are going to place the openings for your windows and doors. Most people go straight for the space age insulation that is only a couple of centimetres thick covered with ply board inside with the outside covered in wooden cladding. For great insulation and warmth I would consider straw bale with a lime render over the surface it looks fantastic but takes up a lot of space. For the structure itself using either well treated beams or hardwood's such as oak beams will help you maintain your building.

For the roof you can either use felting to go over the top of some hardboard or chipboard (ensure this is sealed completely). The other option is to scrounge some old tiles from either your local reclamation yard or speak to a roofer that might have some that he is removing from an old house. Make sure that you have a good layer of waterproofing down under the roof tiles. Another option for the more adventurous is shingle roofing tiles which will need to be maintained but look fantastic.

A shed can be as basic or beautiful as you like and the only real restriction is time and money. If you are someone that is good at scavenging around for stuff then you should be able to keep your costs right down. There are so many types of balloon animals that you can make such as dog, bird, swan, teddy bear, monkey and so on. If you know how to twist some simple balloon animals, you will also be able to sculpture others designs like flower, ray gun, heart shape, and many more. For most people, balloon twisting seems like a very challenging art. The phobia of the squeaking & popping makes it impossible to master for some. But did you know that even 5-6 years old are able to do it? What about 60 -70? I believe with proper techniques, guidance & instructions you will twist balloon animal in no time.

I have a student, she is about 40+ and she's really fear of balloon ( Globo phobia ), yet she sign up for the class. An hour later she manages to do a few twists & testify how impossible it seems at the beginning but later she overcome the fear & is proud of her achievement. I believe in overcoming the fear rather than avoiding it. Given a chance, I believe anyone can learn how to make balloon animals & be good at it. Here's some of the thing you can turn the balloon into:

- An exciting piece of art with simple twist & turn.

- Make balloon animal that will brighten a child's face.

- Use simple shape & colors for story telling or even object lesson.

- With ballooning skills you can create fond memories for special occasion such as birthday,

family day & church or community events.

- You can even be a volunteer to do fund raising for charities, In schools, daycare or

other organization.

- Also earn additional income working as part time balloonist.

- It can be also a form of physio-therapy for some as they need to move their fingers to twist & turn.

If you don't know how to make balloon animals, don't be disappointed because there are so much information on the internet that you can find such as books, photos, articles and videos. Among all of those balloons twisting information, videos guide is the easiest and fastest way to learn how to twist a balloon and others beautiful balloon designs. There are also classes that teach people on how to twist balloons. If you have the videos guide then it is not necessary one have to go through classes in order to learn balloon twisting, you can twist a balloon at the comfort of your own home after watching the videos. With videos, it is easy to twist (which 5-6 years old could follow). My encouragement to you is, give it a twist & you will enjoy as much as I do on how to make balloon animals, happy twisting.
